| 2015 FCI Warriors at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina |
The FCI Warriors completed the 2015 Travel Season this past weekend at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. Playing with only seven players (due to a player injury and two of our eligible Seniors signing college scholarships and starting school); The Warriors demonstrated outstanding effort going 2-1 in Pool Play and advancing to the Gold Bracket Playoff Round of 8. In the First Round of the Playoffs on Saturday night, the team was down 19 points with 9 minutes to play in the 2nd half. However, the Warriors put together an epic comeback down the stretch to erase the deficit and ultimately win by 5 points. The Warriors eventually fell in a narrow loss on Sunday to a tough Flight squad. Nonethless, it was an end to a great season in which each and every player grew as ball players and as young men. These guys are true "Warriors" and it was honor to have them put on the FCI Jersey. We look forward to following all of the future success sure to come for each one of these special young men!
